Position: Motor Mechanic
Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong diagnostic abilities and a commitment to delivering efficient and high-quality automotive services.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues across a variety of vehicles using both manual inspection and computer-based diagnostic tools.
- Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty components including engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering systems, and suspension parts.
- Dismantle and reassemble vehicle components with precision, ensuring all parts are correctly fitted and functioning.
- Perform routine servicing such as oil changes, filter replacements, engine tune-ups, and general maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Conduct post-repair testing and adjustments to ensure vehicles meet operational and safety standards.
- Interpret and follow technical manuals and manufacturer specifications when performing repairs and servicing.
- Inspect vehicles and identify additional work required to maintain roadworthiness and reliability.
- Maintain accurate service records and report findings to customers or supervisors as required.
- Provide support for breakdown repairs and urgent service requests where necessary.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and workshop standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.
- Certificate III or IV in Automotive or equivalent qualification (preferred but not required)
- Relevant trade certification as a Motor Mechanic (desirable).
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as a Motor Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Familiarity with modern diagnostic tools and automotive technologies.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
