Position: Restaurant Manager
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join the dynamic team at Dawg Boys, a vibrant and modern dining venue known for its bold flavours, quality ingredients, and energetic atmosphere. Specialising in gourmet hot dogs, loaded creations, and street-style comfort food, Dawg Boys has built a strong reputation for delivering fun, high-quality, and memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, and supporting the team to deliver a consistent and engaging customer experience.
The candidate will be expected to perform the following duties, including but not limited to:
- Planning and coordinating daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service delivery and high customer satisfaction
- Managing staff rosters, supervising front- and back-of-house teams, and ensuring adequate staffing during peak periods
- Overseeing food preparation and service to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to brand standards
- Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and product availability
- Monitoring inventory, sales, and financial performance using POS systems and reporting tools to support profitability
- Ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations, workplace health and safety standards, and hygiene requirements
- Handling customer feedback, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner to maintain a positive dining experience
- Training, mentoring, and motivating staff to uphold service excellence and foster a positive team culture
- Assisting with menu implementation, promotions, and operational improvements to support business growth
- Supporting marketing initiatives, in-store promotions, and community engagement activities to enhance brand visibility
- Tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field is highly desirable
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a supervisory/managerial role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in staff training, rostering, and performance supervision
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Proven ability to manage fast-paced restaurant operations and maintain high service standards
- Solid understanding of food safety regulations, workplace health and safety, and compliance requirements
- Experience in stock control, supplier coordination, and basic financial management (e.g. cost control, budgeting, and profit margins)
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-energy environment while maintaining attention to detail and service quality
