Project Management & Delivery
- Plan, manage, and deliver solar energy projects from development through to commissioning and handover.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resourcing
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with scope, cost, schedule, quality, and safety
- Manage project risks, issues, and change control
- Oversee contractor and subcontractor performance to ensure contractual obligations are
- Provide technical oversight for commercial solar PV projects, including balance of plant and grid connection works.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC)
- Review and approve technical documentation, designs, specifications, and commissioning
- Support grid connection processes, testing, and compliance with network service provider
- Act as the primary interface between Perdaman Advanced Energy, EPC contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders including engineering, commercial, legal, HSE, and operations teams.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders including network operators, regulators, landowners, and local authorities.
- Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and site coordination
- Support contract negotiation, administration, and management for EPC and supply
- Monitor project costs, forecasts, and cash flow, ensuring alignment with approved
- Assess contractor claims, variations, and extensions of
- Contribute to project financial reporting and governance
- Demonstrate strong safety leadership and ensure compliance with Perdaman and legislative HSE requirements.
- Ensure site activities comply with WHS legislation, environmental approvals, and project-specific management plans.
- Promote a strong safety culture across all project
- Ensure quality assurance and quality control processes are implemented and
- Prepare and present regular project status reports covering schedule, cost, risks, and key
- Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and
- Support internal governance, audit, and assurance
- Escalate critical issues and risks in a timely and effective
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery frameworks, systems, and
- Capture and share lessons learned across
- Mentor and support junior project engineers or project team
- Contribute to the development of renewable energy capability within Perdaman Advanced
- Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others at
- Comply with all WHS policies, procedures, and site safety
- Comply with all relevant Acts, regulations, approvals, and statutory
- Ensure project delivery aligns with company policies, procedures, and governance
- Maintain current knowledge of solar technologies, standards, and industry best
- Undertake ongoing professional development relevant to project management and renewable
- Take full accountability for assigned solar projects and
- Deliver projects to a high standard, on time, and within
- Proactively identify and resolve issues to achieve positive project

- Minimum 5-8 years' experience in project management within solar, renewable energy, or power infrastructure project
- Proven experience delivering large commercial solar PV
- Strong experience managing EPC contractors and complex project
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management
- Sound understanding of solar PV systems, grid connection processes, and power
- Ability to interpret technical, commercial, and contractual
- High level of organisation, problem-solving, and decision-making
- Experience in hybrid energy systems (solar + storage).
- Experience required executing projects between 30kW to
- Experience working on projects in Western
- Knowledge of Australian Standards, AEMO, and network service provider
- Post Graduate degree in engineering (Electrical, Renewable Energy, or related discipline).
- Project Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
- SAA Accreditation Certification for PV
- Current and valid Australian driver's
- National Police
