Position: Carpenter

Salary: $75,000 to $80,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation

Hours: 38 hours per week

Mode: Full-time

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering residential construction projects, working from plans and specifications to construct, install, and repair a wide range of structural and finishing elements.

• Interpret construction drawings and specifications to determine project requirements, materials, and installation methods
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials with precision
• Construct and install wall and roof frameworks, flooring systems, and structural supports
• Install door and window frames, wall cladding, and other essential building components
• Ensure structures are level, aligned, and built according to design and regulatory standards
• Carry out general carpentry tasks including repairs, alterations, and maintenance of existing structures
• Assist with formwork and other structural components as required on-site
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment, complying with all WHS regulations
• Collaborate effectively with site supervisors and other trades to ensure timely project completion

Qualifications:

• Certificate III in or Certificate IV in Carpentry or related trade
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in residential construction

Other Skills & Requirements:

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
• Strong knowledge of building materials, methods, and safety standards
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and time management skills
