Position: Electronic Engineering Technician
Salary: $75,000 to $80,000 per annum plus 12% Superannuation
Hours: 38 hours per week
Mode: Full-time
Location: Edinburgh, Adelaide SA

The Opportunity:
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Electronic Engineering Technician to join our Electronics division based in Adelaide, South Australia.

This role will involve the inspection, testing, calibration and repair of electronic equipment, supporting both internal operations and external customers. Occasional travel may be required to support operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
  • Perform inspection, fault finding, repair and testing of electronic equipment
  • Calibrate equipment in accordance with Australian Standards and company procedures
  • Conduct load cell testing and strain gauging activities
  • Assemble electronic components using precision tools and techniques
  • Operate and maintain testing equipment, ensuring calibration compliance
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records and certification in line with QA requirements
  • Provide technical advice to customers regarding equipment repair, replacement or performance
  • Prepare quotes and process repair orders within required timeframes
  • Support new product introduction and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies, procedures and safety standards
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
  • Relevant qualification in Electronics or a related technical field
  • Experience in electronic equipment testing, calibration and repair
  • Ability to interpret and apply Australian Standards
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working with quality systems and documentation requirements
  • Good communication skills and ability to provide technical advice to clients
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Sound computer skills (including Microsoft Office)
Desirable (but not essential):
  • Experience with load cells, strain gauging or similar instrumentation
  • Experience in industrial, mining or heavy industry environments
  • Knowledge of metrology or calibration laboratory practices
