Offsite Solutions in Western Australia is seeking applicants for a Welder (First Class) to join their team in a full-time position. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out high-quality welding and fabrication work on structural reinforcement and components in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
Key duties include:
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Cutting, shaping, and preparing reinforced bars for fabrication
- Performing welding using various techniques to join reinforced bars.
- Aligning and assembling reinforced bar accurately prior to welding
- Inspecting welds to ensure strength, quality, and compliance with standards
- Finishing and smoothing welded surfaces using grinding and filing tools
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with workplace safety requirements
All applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Have AQF Certificate III, including at least five (2) years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience
- Must be able to work alone while being supported in a small team environment
- Good communication skills are a must, both written and verbal.
A remuneration package between $76,515 to $95,000 per annum, plus superannuation, will be negotiated depending on skills and experience.
