Salary: $50 to $65 per hour plus 12% superannuation
Hours: 38 hours per week

Technical Lubrication Services (TLS) is seeking qualified Lubrication Technicians to support maintenance and shutdown activities across major mining operations (FIFO).

As a Lubrication Technician at Technical Lubrication Services Pty Ltd (TLS), you will play a critical role in the maintenance and performance of heavy machinery and equipment used across various industries, including mining and resources. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and monitoring lubrication systems, ensuring all equipment operates at optimal efficiency and longevity while adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine inspections of all plant machinery, recording any discrepancies and implementing corrective measures throughout the maintenance business process.
  • Conduct regular lubrication activities, including oil changes and grease applications, and monitor lubrication points on machinery and equipment.
  • Perform oil sampling and analysis to assess lubricant conditions and recommend actions to optimize performance.
  • Monitor and document lubricant usage and ensure machinery is lubricated according to manufacturer specification and industry standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks associated with lubrication, including cleaning, replacing filters, and inspecting lubrication systems for leaks or defects.
  • Identify potential issues with equipment that could lead to lubrication-related failures and report findings to maintenance teams.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience as a Technician, specialising in Lubrication Systems in heavy industry.
  • Familiarity with materials and products relating to lubrication systems, including oils, greases, and automated lubrication systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues related to lubrication

Requirements
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Ability to work FIFO shutdown and maintenance rosters
  • Relevant site certifications (Working at Heights, Confined Space, Gas Testing etc.)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
