Salary: $77,320 per annum plus superannuation

Hours: 38 hours per week

ABOUT YOUR ORGANISATION:

Umoona Aged Care Aboriginal Corporation was established more than thirty years ago to care for the elderly citizens of the APY Lands by a group of community women with concerns for the welfare of the vulnerable.

You will deliver personal care that includes, but is not limited to assisting with personal care, medications, nutrition & hydration, general tidying and cleaning, assisting with lifestyle or wellness activities, and any assistance and support required with any other residential and community recipient care needs within scope of training and skills.

• If you work effectively as part of a team and hold, or are studying towards, a Certificate III in Aged Care or an equivalent qualification, we would love to hear from you. You will have a strong ability to ensure that care services are provided to care recipients with compassion and in compliance with documented care plans.
• You will have a working knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and be able to demonstrate your ability to undertake a wide range of personal care tasks. You will have the trained ability to observe and report changes in recipients' health status to the Clinical Team Leader in a timely manner and be able to assess workplace risks and hazards.
• You will need adequate literacy skills and reasonably competent computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and other information technology systems, to comply with health service documentation requirements.

Salary: AUD 77,320 Per Annum.
