Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers is looking for an Instrumentation Technician, responsible for overseeing and coordinate the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of the ammonia plant. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our E&I team at Karratha for Perdaman's Ammonia & Urea project. Perdaman, a leading player in the fertiliser industry with its corporate office in Western Australia, is looking for a candidate to fulfill the responsibilities as identified in this position description.
Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers is a leading Australian manufacturer focused on fertilizer production and sustainable energy solutions. With a commitment to innovation and efficiency, PCF is developing Project Ceres, which is Australia's largest urea manufacturing plant, located in Karratha, Western Australia.
Education/ Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years in chemical, petrochemical, or fertiliser plant. Proven expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting of assets in responsible areas.
- Previous experience with process instruments, valves, machinery monitoring assets.
- Full working rights in Australia or eligible to get working rights in Australia and fulfill Australian visa requirements if applying from outside Australia.
- Engineering qualification recognised by Engineers Australia and eligible to pass the skill assessment.
- Conversant with English language
- Physically capable of traversing the plant and accessing process plant and equipment at different elevations.
