Zhangliang Spicy Hot Pot is looking for a Asian Chef to join our team based in Perth WA on a full-time basis.
The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing high-quality hot pot dishes, managing kitchen operations, andensuring excellent food presentation and taste. The Chef will collaborate with the kitchen staff to create memorable dining experiences while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Plan and develop menus in collaboration with the management.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, including line cooks and prep cooks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, OSHA).
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Handle special dietary requests and customize dishes as needed.
- In-depth knowledge of Asian culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavours.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Annual salary range : $77,000 - $85,000
