Position: Chef / Cook - Full Time
Salary: $76,515 to $81,000 plus 12% superannuation
Hours: 38 hours per week
Mode: Full-time
Location: Everton Park, Brisbane
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chef / Cook to join the kitchen team on a full-time basis. Depending on skills, qualifications, and experience, the successful applicant may be appointed as either Chef or Cook.
Duties and Responsibilities
Kitchen Operations
- Prepare, season and cook a range of dishes to a high standard.
- Ensure timely preparation and service during lunch, dinner and peak periods.
- Maintain consistency in taste, portion control and presentation.
- Monitor quality of raw ingredients and finished meals.
- Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, fryers and other cooking equipment.
Menu & Food Preparation
- Assist in planning menus and specials.
- Contribute ideas for new dishes and seasonal items.
- Prepare meats, seafood, vegetables, sauces, desserts and accompaniments.
- Manage stock rotation and minimise wastage.
Hygiene & Compliance
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Follow food safety regulations and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ensure proper storage, handling and labelling of food products.
- Team Support / Supervision (Chef level where applicable)
Supervise junior kitchen staff and kitchen hands.
- Lead Menu Planning
- Assist with rostering and training staff.
- Coordinate kitchen workflow during service.
- Assist in ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
- Requirements
For Cook Position
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification/work experience.
- At least 1 year relevant experience.
For Chef Position
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification/work experience.
- At least 1 year relevant experience in a supervisory or commercial kitchen role preferred.
General Requirements

Employment Conditions
- Full-time position.
- Minimum 38 hours per week.
- Annual salary between AUD 76,515 - AUD 81,000 plus superannuation, depending on role and experience
