Salary: $76,515 - $85,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation

On behalf of our client, Hotel Rottnest and Samphire Rottnest, located on the premiere tourist destination Rottnest Island, are well known for offering a unique experience. They are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled Chef de Partie to join their team on a full-time basis.
Chef de Partie responsibilities include following recipes and preparing high-quality dishes. You should be able to delegate tasks to kitchen hands & cooks. You will be familiar with sanitation regulations. Ultimately, you'll prepare and deliver complete dishes that delights our guests.
Tasks & Duties:
- Setting up your section
- Studying each recipe and gathering all necessary ingredients
- Cooking food in a timely manner
- Ensure plate presentation per standard
- Supervise Cooks and assist as needed
- Monitor food stock and place order with kitchen management
- Ensure freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
- Familiar with Chemform and cleaning supplies
- Log wastage in logbook
Skills & Experience Required:
- Relevant chef qualification
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Keep updated on product knowledge of hotel and related activities
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate others.
- High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Salary between $76,515 & $85,000 per annum + superannuation.
