Position: Civil Engineer
Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation
Hours: 38 hours per week

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of residential construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring structural integrity, cost control, and efficient coordination of on-site construction activities.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assess construction requirements and determine appropriate building methods, materials, and quality standards for residential projects
- Interpret architectural drawings, engineering plans, and specifications to guide construction activities
- Plan and coordinate site operations, including labour, materials, and equipment to ensure efficient project delivery
- Develop and monitor project schedules to meet deadlines and contractual obligations
- Conduct site investigations, including soil testing and assessment of ground conditions to ensure structural suitability
- Analyse structural elements to ensure buildings meet safety, durability, and compliance standards
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and material forecasts to support project planning and financial control
- Monitor project progress and manage variations, including evaluating cost and design impacts
- Ensure compliance with Australian building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Liaise with builders, subcontractors, architects, and clients to ensure smooth coordination and communication
- Identify engineering issues and implement practical solutions to minimise delays and risks
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Civil Engineer in residential construction, housing projects, or building works
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and structural principles
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Familiarity with Australian standards and building regulations
- Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to work across both site and office environments
