Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers is looking for a Control Valve Technician, responsible for overseeing and coordinate the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of the fertilizer plant. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our E&I team at Karratha for Perdaman's Ammonia & Urea project. Perdaman, a leading player in the fertiliser industry with its corporate office in Western Australia, is looking for a candidate to fulfill the responsibilities as identified in this position description.
Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers is a leading Australian manufacturer focused on fertilizer production and sustainable energy solutions. With a commitment to innovation and efficiency, PCF is developing Project Ceres, which is Australia's largest urea manufacturing plant, located in Karratha, Western Australia.
Education/ Experience Requirements:
- Diploma in relevant areas
- Minimum of 5 years in chemical, petrochemical, or fertiliser plant
- Proven expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting of assets in responsible areas
- Previous experience with process Control & On-Off Valves.
- Full working rights in Australia or eligible to get working rights in Australia and fulfill Australian visa requirements if applying from outside Australia.
- Engineering qualification recognised by Engineers Australia and eligible to pass the skill assessment.
- Basic experience with control systems (DCS, SCADA) and process control loops
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as HART, Modbus, OPC, and Profibus.
- Knowledge of process Control & On-Off Valves technologies & metallurgy.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration across functions.
