Position: Diesel Mechanic

Salary: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per annum plus superannuation.

Hours: 38 hours per week

Mode: Full time / Permanent

Location: Kalgoorlie Western Australia

Spurtys Mechanical is seeking a qualified, experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team.

Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of mining and heavy equipment in a site-based workshop environment. This role suits tradespeople who take pride in quality workmanship and thrive in a team-focused culture.

• Diagnosing engine issues, performing repairs, and conducting regular maintenance.
• Provide auto electrical, air conditioning and mechanical services to heavy machineries
• Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of machines
• Involved with all areas of machine maintenance, including fault finding and troubleshooting, both scheduled and preventative maintenance
• Heavy Vehicle experience, Mining Industry experience required, and a high knowledge of Air Conditioning work and Auto Electrical Fault finding skills.

Requirements

• Trade qualified (relevant heavy equipment trade)
• Minimum 5 years post-trade experience
• Ability to provide auto electrical, air conditioning, and mechanical services across light vehicles and heavy machinery
• Ability to work safely in a mining environment
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude

A remuneration package between $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year plus superannuation.
