Salary: $80,000 to $85,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation
Hours: 38 hours per week

Electrical Engineer
This is a rewarding role in the Bulk handling Industry within a small engineering team at Inquip. This position involves applying your experience to the design of electrical drive systems and switchboards for bulk handling equipment designed and delivered to customers of the Mechanical Equipment Group (MEG);
A great role, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer with:
- Experience in the design of electrical drive systems and switchboards using SolidWorks Electrical
- PLC and VSD drive systems programming
- Plant & Equipment control systems
- Drive enclosure manufacture
This Full-Time position is based at our Wangara premises. We are looking for an individual with appropriate qualifications and experience to undertake:
What Your Day Looks Like:
- Designing electrical drive systems and switchboards using SolidWorks Electrical.
- Programming PLC and drive systems.
- Contributing to software development for PLC/HMI controllers.
- Undertake design and drafting electrical schematics, general arrangement drawings, and single-line diagrams to meet customer requirements.
- Preparing equipment schedules .
- Oversee the production of switchboard and control panel designs.
- Working autonomously and collectively to meet Team Goals.
- Attend production and site meetings as required.
Essential Experience:
- 2-5 years in a similar role.
- Customer service focused.
- Practical industry application and experience in development and manufacture of electronic control systems.
Applicants with experience in development and manufacture of electronic control systems will be highly regarded. The successful applicant must have appropriate tertiary qualification and hold a current manual driver's license.
