Our Client AMREEN LOGISTICS PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Transport Company Manager to join their team located in Wollert, VIC 3750. This role involves over seeing transport operations, managing staff and drivers, coordinating freight schedules, maintaining compliance, and ensuring efficient delivery of goods.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and oversee daily transport and logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Supervise drivers, dispatch staff and administrative personnel, including rostering, training and performance management.
- Develop and enforce operational procedures in line with company standards and Australian transport regulations.
- Manage vehicle scheduling, route planning and load distribution to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS), road safety and fatigue management requirements.
- Monitor fleet maintenance and servicing schedules to maintain safe and roadworthy vehicles.
- Liaise with clients and suppliers to maintain strong relationships, resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in transport management, logistics, or a similar role is required.
- Competitive salary of $80000 per annum plus 12% superannuation.
