Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers is looking for a Urea Panel Operator is responsible for overseeing and controlling the operation of the urea synthesis, granulation and solid handling process within the fertilizer plant and coordinate while ship loading. This includes monitoring the process through control panels, troubleshooting issues, ensuring the system operates efficiently, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a urea granulation fertilizer plant, demonstrating a strong understanding of plant operations, equipment, and safety protocols. Should possess excellent communication and coordination skills.

Education/ Experience Requirements:
- Technical certifications or a Degree/Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related fields. Familiarity and experience with the Snamprogetti urea process and Thyssenkrupp granulation is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience as a panel operator in a urea synthesis and granulation.
- Strong knowledge of urea synthesis, granulation, and fertilizer production processes.
- Proficiency in operating control panels and process monitoring systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve process, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret process data and adjust operations accordingly.
- Excellent communication and co-ordination skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Exposure to World Scale operational Hazardous plant safety standards.
